Oktoberfest
At the same time as Munich. Right here in Šiauliai. For our tenth season, CASK 215 switches into Oktoberfest mode: Bavarian atmosphere, a special menu and Malkinė dressed for the occasion.
Free entry. We recommend booking ahead for evenings and larger groups.
Festival menu & story
On September 19, our annual tradition returns to the Malkinė.
For the tenth season in a row, CASK 215 switches into Oktoberfest mode: Bavarian atmosphere, a special menu, a fully decorated Malkinė, and that unmistakable vibe that keeps bringing some of you back every autumn.
People say it’s the best Oktoberfest in town. We’re not saying that ourselves, but we’re not arguing either.
**Eat like you’re in Bavaria**
Oktoberfest has never been just about decorations for us. For two weeks, we run a separate festival menu, created the same way we do everything at CASK — generous, serious, and with no half measures.
Oktoberfest at CASK has never been just about decorations. For two weeks, the kitchen gets its own dedicated festival menu: hearty, Bavarian, and worth coming back for more than once.
**OBATZDA** Bavarian cheese spread, pretzels, pickled onions, radishes and chives. Simple only at first glance.
**CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUP** Thick, rich and warming. Cheddar, chives and a pretzel on the side. One of those dishes you start craving in autumn before you’ve even tasted it.
**SAUSAGE TRIO** This year, a completely different line-up: pork Bratwurst, lamb Lammbratwurst and duck Entenbratwurst.
Served with creamy mashed potatoes, braised red cabbage and mustard. Three sausages. Three different personalities. One plate.
**CASK PORK KNUCKLE** The one that barely needs an introduction during Oktoberfest anymore.
Hot, hearty and served exactly the way it should be — in a cast-iron skillet.
**SCHNITZEL** A classic that doesn’t need much explaining. Big, crispy, and made for people who arrive hungry.
We’ll show the menu separately and much closer up very soon.
**And everything else?**
For two weeks, the Malkinė will once again become almost unrecognisable. Bavarian details, music, Lederhosen, Dirndl, and all that pleasant Oktoberfest chaos we somehow manage to miss during the rest of the year.
Come dressed up. Come as you are. More importantly — come hungry.
News about the festival’s non-alcoholic drinks and other details will be revealed as the event gets closer.
**Entry is free.** Unfortunately, that doesn’t make the Malkinė any bigger, so for evenings and larger groups, we strongly recommend booking a table in advance.
Over the years, our Oktoberfest has grown from a simple seasonal event into one of CASK’s traditions. It’s not only people from Šiauliai who come — we welcome guests from other towns too, and many of them find us because you send them our way.
For that, thank you.
We can’t bring Munich to Šiauliai, but for two weeks, we can make it feel surprisingly close.
